M. Edward (Ted) Key M. Edward (Ted) Key was educated at the University of Toronto (Hons. B.A. with high distinction, 1997 and LL.B., 2000). Ted was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2002 and joined O’Donnell, Robertson & Sanfilippo in 2004. Ted’s practice is confined to the defence of insured claims, and he has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario. In 2009, Ted became a partner of O'Donnell, Robertson & Sanfilippo.

• Insurance defence litigation, including defence of professionals such as solicitors, and defence in personal injury claims.
• Defence of claims on behalf occupiers and managers of commercial property.
• Defence of product liability claims.
• Defence counsel in municipal liability cases, including building inspectors, road authorities and police departments.
